FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How much is it?
It costs £3.00 a week, which goes to cover room rent. We're a not for profit group - any extra money we make goes towards buying games for everyone to enjoy. - What types of games do you play?
Lots of different ones. We're lucky that we have a wide range of games available to us (you'll see a few listed on the Games page). - How long do the games last?
We run our games in cycles. Generally they're split into 'long games' (12 weeks) and 'short games' (4 weeks), although we also have some 'one-shots' (1 week). There's always at least two games running and everyone has a say in what games are happening next. - I have a game I'd like to run - is that OK?
Absolutely! We have a 'proposed games list' where people add whatever they'd like to offer to run and everyone can register their interest. When it's time to choose what games are running next we go with the ones with the most interest and everyone votes on which one they'd like to play. We're very democratic - it works really well - Can I bring food and drink?
Sure - we also have a selection of soft drinks and snacks for sale to get you through the evening. - Is the venue suitable for people with disabilities?
The room we use is on ground level with disabled access. That said, if you'd like more details please get in touch and we'll be happy to try and help with any specific questions or needs you may have. - Is there an age limit?
Occasionally some of the games we played can include adult themes, because of this we have a minimum age limit of 16 years old.
